Exercise

15 more minutes on the bike and a few more push ups down and I am feeling great today, because I know my weight and I know that in a week I will have something positive to gauge my weight loss/gain against. I set a short term goal for myself to get under the 500lb mark. this is getting interesting for me now, I have all kinds of stuff going on in my head as far as goals etc go, right on up to some longer term goals, one of the longer term goals is to be able to run 2 miles again. over all feeling for the day is great.

  1. Thanks for the tech stuff- I'm fairly illiterate when it comes to computers. I'll give it a try.
    I think having short term goal of under 500 is awesome to start. By keeping them manageable, you will not get frustrated. My pedometer came today, although I "aint" going out in this mix of snow/rain. Hopefully tomorrow is nicer.
    Again, I will say I am thrilled you have a starting point. Keep on movin and staying on track foodwise.

  2. Wow you can do pressups at that weight? Impressive, ive lost like 166lb and im weighing about 164lb and still having trouble doing more than 3 or 4 :/
    Mind you, having been fat i have massivly strong legs, its a definate bonus whilst cycling up hills!

    Liz, first off Hi :) and thanks for the comment. I believe the fact that I lifted weights A LOT before I was injured maybe a factor in why I can do the push ups, that and pride maybe? lol I also do them on a stair atm thats also helping (though I can do them on the floor just not as many).
