Exercise

20 mins on the bike and 30 push ups followed by a stretch routine. I am still annoyed but the exercise helped curb it a bit. I plan on riding the bike again later in the day. I get annoyed easily if I cannot figure something out, which doesn't happen often. this weirdo weight drop/raise has me annoyed.

this pretty much sums up my week so far where my weight loss is concerned.

Did I mention that I was annoyed?

  1. Patience will pay off in the end!! Don't go crazy and overdo you exercising or diets now you just need to continue with what you have been doing. This is not a plateau yet. When you aren't losing at all consistently for a few weeks that is the plateau. This is a bump in the road thats all.
I would not eat any differently than you have been and I wouldn't go on a crazy workout frenzy either. That will just make you more hungry and then you will be eating in excess instead of what you have trained yourself with. IT IS A SIMPLE MATH CALCULATION! 3500cal = 1lb. burn about half with exercise and the other half with diet and there is no way you won't be losing the fat. Have you been keeping up with your measurements? Are you seeing the difference there and not on the scale? Can you see the ripped muscles you have been working out yet?

Our bodies are made for survival not for losing weight. It will have not choice but to give it up eventually just don't give in to the temptation to workout harder or eat less or give up altogether.

Just be patient. And for Pete's sake look at all you have accomplished in just 2 short months. Thats something to be proud of.!

  2. Holly,
I just thanks for the support and words of wisdom, something about the way you put it made sense to me.

the measurements, I have not measured myself BUT I am down 2 pants sizes and 1 shirt size so I am getting noticeably smaller.

I wouldn't say my "ripped" muscles are visible just quite yet ;) but the trapezius and Deltoids have been making appearances since I started working out again ;)

    Thanks again
