Monday has come and 100 pound has gone

The Monday after the big triple digit win, I am feeling off today and cannot place my finger on why. I did zero exercise on Sunday and it was an extremely lazy day for me, in fact as I type this I am feeling very unmotivated to do anything at all today, which I cannot let happen. my calories came in at 1030 for Sunday but before you say "like omg you are like so totally eating too little calories broham" I have to admit to eating pizza that was not put onto my excel sheet (calories anyway) because I just don't care about how many it added up to, it was a freebie so to speak and I am not counting it (though I am because I only ate 1030 total cals besides the pizza) I will also admit that after eating said pizza that I did in fact have stomach pains for about 20 mins, lesson learned, do not eat 4 small (but thick) square slices of pepperoni pizza after eating only good foods for 4 months and expect to get away scott free, though the pains went away rather quickly so almost scott free.

Todays exercise regimen will be some light weights, calisthenics, and I am going to try out some core strengthening movements , the wind has really kicked up outside so I am not sure if I will be able to get a walk in today because my daughter really complains when I take her out for a walk in the wind, hmmmm that sounded a lot like an excuse, ok so a walk is in order as well. I am thinking about when I should start strength training again because I do not want to lose muscle mass. now I know that this will be a balancing act with the losing weight and gaining/maintaining strength and muscle mass but I have to do it at some point, I am just unsure that this is the point where I should start and the weight loss is priority one right now. Here is the menu from Sunday, it is not very good.

Breakfast
10:00 AM
1 banana 105
1 tbsp peanut butter 95

Lunch
1:00 PM
smart ones chinese meal 230
whole wheat english muffin 100
tiny bit omega spread 15
sliced tomato 10

Pizza x 4 square pieces Dunno calories

Dinner
5:45 PM
1 gortons fish fillet 170
3/4 cup white rice 150
2/3 cup peas 70

8:00 PM
1 pear 85

Grand total of 1030 counted calories, and whatever the pizza was. over all it was an ok day besides the fact that I did nada in the way of exercise and had some pizza that I did not count, maybe it wasn't such an ok day after all. either way it just one more day in the life of a fat dude tryin to change that fact. sort of a blah post for sort of a blah day followed by the fact that I am in a blah mood right now as I type this, and by blah I mean content with where I am. blah blah blah blah blah...

As Ever

  1. 100 pounds in 139 days is absolutely awesome! You should be pretty stoked! I haven't been a reader for all this time, but I can't remember reading about any blah days until now. I think we're all entitled to one now and then. Maybe its something to do with reaching that 100 lb milestone. You're feeling good and looking good and you just want to have a little break? I dunno. But I'm glad I found this blog because I tell ya... that locomotive/train in your new header needs to make a stop in my mind and flip that switch :) I'll get there...I know I will. Have a great evening.

  2. Aww Tony I'm sorry you're having a blah day. I've had a couple and not to be a superfoods harpy but I feel that way when I eat things that aren't 'healthy'. Maybe the pizza not only affected your tummy, maybe it also affected your mood. I hope tomorrow is better in the mood department and that the blahs go away. This isn't the tone that I'm so used to getting from you and it's so different. And kind of a downer :( I hope you perk up again tomorrow and are your normal cheerful self. I'm sooooooooooo proud of you losing 100 lbs. You're my hero!

  3. aww I am so sad that I didn't get a chance to read earlier on in the day! I would have liked to help you feel better. Especially since like Dottie said you don't really have a lot of off days! AND I agree with Andeelys idea about the food causing the mood swings! I was low carbing for a good while and while I was seeing no results on the scale I felt like I was on top of the world physically! This month since MOTHERS day I have not counted my carb intake and I must say that my exercise has dwindled completely. I am keeping busy but I just haven't craved the exercise like I was two weeks ago! MAYBE Andeely is on to something. This is why we are all here though to help each other get up and over the humps and bumps. Mr. Meatball you can be a lazy ass for one or two days but I better not hear of it tomorrow! do you need another cheer? I am sure I can come up with one--I stole the other one from a bugs bunny cartoon.

OH and you have wind! lucky dog - I am sunburned all over my arms and shoulders from lawn work from just this morning! AND we had no wind. Just don't let your daughter get blown away!

OH and yippee on the scale!! I am still super happy for that! AS a matter of fact I will walk an extra mile in your honor tomorrow for the 100lb loss!

  4. Blah days...they happen to the best of us. I'm proud of you for admitting that you had that pizza on Sunday.
You know what I keep thinking? That if you do that sort of thing on occasion, it's okay. But, start feeling like that on a regular basis, and the scale will scold you and force you back on track. That's how I feel it works for me, at least. Usually one blah day turns into two or three, and then I get in trouble with the ole scale, so I get back into the swing of things for the rest of the week. Even if your scale doesn't notice your blah day or two, I know you will get over it and get back to normal soon enough anyway.
And, I have to agree with the other smart ladies who have commented before me - - that pizza could have effected your mind. It's evil like that. Haahaa! Get all of that pizza out of your system, and ebryting 'gone be ahight. :)
I love windy weather. Pull your baby's hair back out of her face, and she'll love it, too!! :) There's nothing worse than wind blowing hair into your eyes and mouth. But, take that away, and wind is great!! :D
