Day 88 another Long day...of the Island type

Another late post because of another long day, I won some new leather seats for my Mustang on ebay a week or so ago and woke up this morning (Saturday) and went to pick them up, the seller was on Long Island so to not pay the outrageous shipping charges (which were $120) I decided to take a ride out to pick them up. the seats were $96 bucks (which is a great price for leather seats) and I filled the gas tank up which was $40 bucks (I used 3/4 of a tank to get there and back including a trip to my fathers house since it was on the way) and $11.50 in tolls, so a grand total of $147.50 (if you use the whole $40 for gas) and about 5 hours of my time for a set of Tan leather seats for my other baby, not bad at all if ya ask me. I ate terribly because of this trip, stayed under calories but barely anything in the morning and then dinner was huge..but thats for tomorrows post ;)

Day 88's menu was a decent one but one of much turkey. I had it for breakfast, I had it for lunch, I had it for dinner, lets just say I am all turkied out. I drank much water and green tea, over all a great day. besides spending some more time on my laptop installing some software, it is just about complete now though so I am happy. No exercise to speak of besides some push ups but I am ok with that. I did lose more weight when the ships left port, and I mean a decent amount, I hope it sticks. I usually drop a couple lbs on Saturday but man I hope this one sticks (I will leave the amount for Fridays weigh in, I know I know what a tease) with that I give you the menu for Friday.

for the day, included in that was 12oz of turkey breast! can you tell I like the stuff? I have had a bust few days but have found that I am able to stick within the plan even though the day gets loaded up, I guess thats a mile marker so to speak as far as changing habits. I did mess up today (Saturday) but only because I was in the car from 10am till about 6:00 pm (including the visit at Dads house) and most of it was highway driving though southern CT and NY state. either way, I am still here and glad I was able to get this post up.

  1. New leather seats huh? That's pretty cool. I just need a whole new car period. I have a feeling it's on it's last leg.

Glad to see how much you like turkey, it's a 'superfood' :) So it's extra good for you.

Hope you had a good day of driving.

    Keep up the great work!

  2. Yes...it sounds like you did, in fact, get a good deal on the seats...and a visit to your dad's for free! (pretty much)
Turkey?! I think you're eating turkey b/c of my promotion of it!! And, YES...I DID order tuna steak the other night b/c of what you had said about it! And, honestly, I didn't like it as much as I liked the Mahi-mahi last time. But, it WAS good, and my husband was super excited about it, since I made him eat half of it!! He loves tuna steak!
Boy, oh boy...those "ships" must have been big 'uns!! hahahaha!!

Still doing great....I hope that loss sticks! I've got my fingers crossed for ya!

  5. Yep Arizona indeed and we on California time right now. Arizona doesn't do day light savings so for half the year we are on time with California and the other half of the year we are on time with New Mexico.
