Day 73, weighing in and a small milestone

So, it seems that I get to be in a great mood today, my weight has dropped for the week by an amount that I am happy with. after the last couple weeks I set myself up for a 1lb loss being ok with me, and to my surprise I got that 1 lb loss plus some more. I weighed in at 473 this morning, thats a 4lb loss from last Friday. I think the fact that I have been going on walks each day at a faster pace because of bringing the stroller for my daughter instead of walking at her speed is making a difference. I don't want to speak too soon, but I am hoping that this rate stays and am thinking that maybe changing the exercise routine may be to blame, if it happens next week again I will say its so. until then I am happy with the 4lb loss and will still only expect a 1-2lb loss for next week.

You may be wondering what the milestone I mentioned in the title is, or maybe not. But if you are, it is the fact that I have Less than 200 lbs to go now! instead of 202lbs its 198lbs! this may seem insignificant but it is huge for the head and seeing a 1 as the front number makes a difference, its been sort of a silent goal for me. so all in all it is a good morning for me so far.

The menu for the 73rd day was average as far as the intake goes, I did eat a bigger than usual dinner but it was because I wanted to get more protein in so I stacked up on the chicken and pork that we had. it was leftover night because the refrigerator was accumulating lots of small plastic bowls and foil covered things. all in all it was good. I won't bore you with my intake any further, except of course besides posting the menu, so here it is.

Grand total of 1390 calories for the day, so right on my average of 1400ish I will keep this section short and just say Thanks for following, and again I want to thank the people that take the time to send me personal emails as well as all of your comments. I honestly believe its why I am able to stick to this regimen this time around.

  2. 4 pounds is awesome! Congrats to you! I remain the same at 197. STUCK! but I am hoping the bike will zap my metabolism back, and next week will be back on track.

  3. 4 is the number of the week!! I'm still so excited about it, and I'm sure you are, too!!

    Here's to many more weeks of 1 or 2 pound losses, with a suprise week of 4 pounds gone as well!! Let's not let those 1 or 2 pound losses get us down again. As we've seen, the bigger numbers come around soon enough! :)
