Late day post and maybe a trout recipe in your future

Tuesday started off well enough, I had my normal breakfast and a very light lunch because I knew we had a baby sitter and that we were going to Friendlys for a dinner out, I got the chicken strip dinner which the nutrition menu said it was 650 calories with fries and coleslaw I did not eat the coleslaw so it was just the chicken and fries, I am counting this at 750 total because I do not trust the nutrition table in a place like that. I also had half of a sundae for desert, wify and I shared one. upon coming home I saw that my Father in law (baby sitter) had ordered a white pizza for the kiddos and himself so I grabbed a slice not remembering that I had the sundae so I did go over calories for Tuesday, oh well it was a good time out with wify and we ended up going on a little hike at a new park that I found after dinner not too far from my home, in fact we are heading there after dinner to see if I can catch tomorrows dinner.

Here is the menu from Tuesday.

06/17/08

Breakfast
9:00 AM
1 banana 105
1 tbsp peanut butter 95

Lunch
2:15 PM
1 can progresso soup 120
3/4 cup white rice 150

Dinner
5:00 PM
Friendlys chicken strips 750
1/2 sundae @ Friendlys 200

8:00 PM
1 slice of white pizza 250

Grand total of a bit more than I should have had coming in at 1670 if I count the meal at 750 even though I didn't have the coleslaw and did have the pizza afterwards. I am not worried about the extra intake one bit, I also did get a walk in earlier in the afternoon which was 1 mile exactly and so short because we had rain clouds floating around dropping rain on us randomly so we cut it short. I also got that hike in later in the evening with wify so movement did occur. hopefully the next time I post I can say that I caught my limit worth of trout tonight and I can share a trout recipe, I have a feeling it will be a whole lot of watching the kids toss rocks into the water and scaring the fish though, we shall see. thanks for reading along with my random blabbering.

  1. Glad to read you had a good time out with the wify :) Hubby is home again, until Friday this time I think, lol, who knows anymore actually. Another new place to hike/walk??? Geeze, I'm so jealous! I'm stuck sweating my keester off inside in the AC where we have to keep it set at 82 since it's already over 110 outside and once it hits that high you can't really afford to keep the AC set any cooler than that!!! Lucky (Napolean Dynamite voice)!

  2. Sounds like you weren't THAT far over anyway, and you were counting your calories very generously. Good good! :)

  3. I'm impressed that you were able to have that kind of food out with wify, and didn't go more over than you did! That's great! :D

I've been worried about the time that would surely come when I'd get sick of all of the coutning and worrying and all of that, and I feat that that time has come. Something's got to give for me, though. I CANNOT keep sneaking spoonfuls of peanut butter, and not counting what I've had, and NOT exercising...all at the same time! I'm paying for it, I tell ya! It's pretty scary. Where is my motivation going to come from?! I wish that motivation grew on trees....I'd go pick me some right NOW!!! I've been so bad lately, and don't know how to convince myself to start doing GOOD again...consistently! It sure makes me proud of myself that I was able to do good for so long. The way I'm doing now is so typical for me, and I'm surprised at myself that I was EVER able to do good! I am SOOOOOOOOOO proud of you and Andeely - for you guys continue to demonstrate that continually "doing good" gets big results! You guys are my heroes. I really need to get back on the wagon with you guys. Is there still room on the wagon? I've slid off so many times, I'm worried that I've lost my seat! Please invite me back onto your wagon. I want to be just like ya'll!!! (and, yes, I did just say ya'll. It's a good word, dammit.)
