Can it be another weigh in day already?

I am surprised at my number for this week, because I did nothing in the way of exercise and I had the bad Sunday dinner with the beers etc etc and yet I managed to pull off a four pound loss for the week, I weighed in at 423 pounds this morning and with that I am 111 pounds lighter than I was 5 months ago. I have a goal to be under 400 pounds by the end of August, I have a wedding to attend and my Mother is coming for a visit from CA and it would be nice to be 399 or less by then, that gives me roughly 11 weeks to get under 400 lbs. I think that is a very attainable goal yet still not a sure thing, none of this weight loss is a sure thing but you get the idea.


This 1985 GSX550E weighs in at 423 lbs, my current weight.

This Suzuki RM60 weighs in at 111 lbs, the amount I have lost so far.


My intake for Thursday was 1501 calories, I would say thats right on the button as far as my intake goal goes. my back feels better today and the pain is just a dull thump when I hit that not so sweet spot so I look forward to the weekend without pain in my back, I will keep my fingers crossed with that. here is the menu for Thursday.

Grand total of 1501 calories for the day and 4 pounds gone this week, I am happy with that and now I am anxious to get below 420 lbs and into the teens, and then onto the single digits and finally into the 300's! I think once I am in the 300's I will get a new spark and get really motivated to get down as low as possible, I am motivated now but man I can't tell you how the 300's are going to feel.     then I just want to tell you that you SUCK! If I ate that way (beer mostly) I would be struggling to button my damned pants for the week and here you go pulling off a FOUR lb loss!!!! what the hell!! I am happy for you and now frustrated with myself!! :) I weighed in today up four pounds from yesterday! it is okay though my "official weigh in" isn't till Monday and I have been working my tail off this week. PLUS eating way less than normal.

    how is the back today? hopefully better. I am am sure you will be at your mini goal by August.

  2. Yay for you!! 4 pounds is GRRRRRREAT! (in a Tony the Tiger voice, that surely you can appreciate!)
    There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that in the next 11 weeks, you can lose 24 more pounds! And, I am, by nature, a pessimistic person! But, I know that if it can be done, YOU can do it. :D

    It does suck that the weight loss seems to go a lot smoother for men than it does for women. But, surely you'll be seeing results on the scale soon enough, since you've been working that "tail" off and eating less than you could be. :)

  3. Woohoo! I'm so happy for you with a 4 lb loss showing up on the scale, especially after 'the day', lol! That's all it was after all, 1 day in many...many that are on track. Have a great weekend...and stay away from the brewski :)

  4. Man you are such an inspiration, I just joined a program and had to get weighed in and have to start a blog and video blog. I was scared to weigh thinking I was back up to 530 or so. I stepped on there and was 500 on the nose, 1 more pound and it's 499 and that is SWEET. This was a bit of a wake up call. I have been exercising though not cutting the mustard on the intake.

    Now that I have given up most things on the web along with a lot of foods and am trying to focus more. Well the fingers are crossed and the "cups and measuring devices are out". (laughing) I just built a website intrade for a George Foreman and a ricer, and a steamer.

    I miss you man, I love your blog.
