For those of us that struggle, he was always encouraging and supportive. You are adorable and I am so happy for the 2 of you. When you mention counting calories the wrong way, I wonder if that was my problem- what discouraged me altogether? Can you elaborate?
Tony- wify's story speaks loudly about you as well. The two of you have worked so hard and so well together. Continued success.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3823908020431638884.post-84246359272153437982008-08-06T15:41:00.000-04:002008-08-06T15:41:00.000-04:00Wow...it was almost like reading a personal biogra...Wow...it was almost like reading a personal biography for myself. From the choosing resturants by the seating arrangements, to the Ford Focus issues, to the being tired after a block and needing lots of stops to rest, to the weight gain causing the back issues which brings on more weight gain, to the pushing to look into surgery and more. My husband was 450 when he began calorie counting and we had been together for amost 7 years now. He was already big when we met and gained steadily after that. It is just so crazy how many similarities there are between your story and mine. We are not as far along in our joint weight loss program as you two are, but its nice to hear someone has been where I have and has had such great success so far with what you are doing. Your story helps inspire me to keep on the right track! Thanks for sharing!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3823908020431638884.post-21811256597049332222008-08-06T14:48:00.000-04:002008-08-06T14:48:00.000-04:00Wow....what a great post! I definitely have to just fully agree with Kate when I say that it was a wonderful post, and that the two of you are inspiring because of your success in weight loss and your success in your marriage! Wify filled in a few little blanks for me, and I'm glad for that. It is so awesome to think that you can shed an unhealthy attitude along with weight. Your whole family will forever benefit from those losses! :)
And...because it is so noisy here, and everyone around me is trying to find out what I'm doing so much on the computer, I can't keep my train of thought to respong like I would like to. Just know, though, that I very much enjoyed reading wify's post today! :)
Oh, and wify: You look so beautiful!! :DAunt Melvie Brownies and Morehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01507070234514774082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3823908020431638884.post-80306650918084585402008-08-06T14:35:00.000-04:002008-08-06T14:35:00.000-04:00I am so happy to finally "meet" Wify! What an amazi...I am so happy to finally "meet" Wify!

What an amazing team you two are.
It just puts a whole new look on "for better, for worse!"

You are a very strong, supportive, and patient lady -- (and super cute too btw!)
