You are doing a really great job. Sticking w/your plan, eating several times a day, getting in some exercise. I'm so happy for you, and your wifey too. I hope it's going good for her as well. Keep up the great work, and I'll be here reading right along cheering for you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3823908020431638884.post-24137963568496633832008-03-17T17:35:00.000-04:002008-03-17T17:35:00.000-04:00Hey! So thank you.
Keep on your path. I am still making the right choices, but not counting anything right now. I was down almost a pound this morning. The stress alone with the #'s could have been my stumbling block. Who knows?? I have an appt on Thurs. w/ my "natural" doctor, as I dont want to be Rx'd, so I'll keep you posted.
Thanks again for your support. Really!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3823908020431638884.post-86039666922790584432008-03-17T12:21:00.000-04:002008-03-17T12:21:00.000-04:00Enjoying those turkey sandwiches, eh?? Haha...my ...Enjoying those turkey sandwiches, eh?? Haha...my favorite....especially knowing what I know now about the pb&j thing....
It is neat to think about how this hasn't been THAT hard! I mean, yeah....sometimes it's hard to turn down the junk food that seems to always be available....and it seems hard to resist ordering a pizza with extra cheese and extra grease....but overall, it has not been that big of a deal to learn to eat healthier, and to eat less. I've been waiting for my sister to "catch on" to this...and just yesterday she told me that if I'd make her up a menu to show her that she doesn't have to starve herself, and prove that she can eat good stuff, and not just eat raw brocolli and tofu all day like I'm sure she imagines....that she may try to do it, too. I can't see her giving up cookies and donuts though, so I don't know how that would work out. But, I'm excited to show her that I've not been eating "health foods" to lose weight. In fact, I've been having everything I like....just less of it sometimes, and lower-calorie versions of most stuff (like light sour cream, or light pringles). You can really save a lot of calories by buying stuff with less of them! I'm so excited to have found 40 calorie-per-slice bread that is good! I don't know if I could have stayed under 1000 without it!
Anyway, long comment, as always. You're still doing great, and I'm glad that you still seem to be "in it" for the long haul!!Aunt Melvie Brownies and Morehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01507070234514774082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3823908020431638884.post-78895035970436221502008-03-17T10:28:00.000-04:002008-03-17T10:28:00.000-04:00it is really cool that this has become so natural ...it is really cool that this has become so natural for you. I am happy for you kiddos that -barring any accidents-- you will be there for a much longer time for them. PLUS you are setting a great example for them to live by.
I know this whole online support is new to me and you and Robyn and Sandy but it really helps to hear how you are doing and to not forget that there is a goal and to be accountable for our choices and actions! The success of one helps the outcome of us all!!! so keep on succeeding - it gives me that push to exercise most days!Hollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04504599600226372006noreply@blogger.com
